Our Golf Treatment Philosophy
- The Swing: Every golfer has their own unique swing. Our goal is to optimize your body for your swing, not change your swing
- Teamwork: We will work closely with your golf coach, physician, and anyone else on your healthcare team to effectively identify and address findings
- Biomechanics: Utilize specific knowledge of swing biomechanics to guide our evaluations and develop an individualized plan for all clients; not a one size fits all approach
- Client driven: Your goals are ours. We work closely with our clients to establish goals, baselines, and interventions based on our evaluation and our clients input

Rehabilitation for Golfers
Golf is a physically demanding game that can, and often does, take a toll on the body. Our advanced knowledge of golf injury inducing mechanics allow us to rehabilitate our clients more efficiently. We will stay in contact with your golf coach and doctor about your condition and how you are progressing with rehabilitation.
Our goals with physical therapy for golf is to not only help our golfers heal from their injuries, but also elevate their performance above their pre-injury condition.
- Initial evaluation includes...
- Slow motion swing analysis
- Whole body examination utilizing the Selective Functional Movement Assessment
- Further evaluation of the injury with local biomechanical testing to determine the injured tissue
- Treatment includes...
- Manual therapy including soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilizations, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, and dry needling as indicated
- Therapeutic exercise to address strength, power, and mobility deficits
- Neuromuscular reeducation to improve stability and motor control
Following successful rehabilitation of the injury, we recommend our patients transition to our performance programs to reduce the risk for injury and continue building resiliency, strength, power, and mobility throughout their body.
