About Julie
JastrzemskiCharlottesville area physical therapist Julie
Jastrzemski graduated from St. Bonaventure University in 1992 with a bachelor's
degree in psychology. She received her physical therapy degree from the University of Buffalo in 1998.
Julie
began treating patients in a hospital setting in Fairbanks, Alaska before
joining a multidisciplinary practice to work with a chiropractor and a
naturopathic physician, and eventually relocating to Charlottesville.
She is trained in the McKenzie method for the
treatment of low back and neck pain.
Julie
is intrigued by the human body's ability to rehabilitate. She is especially interested in teaching
posture re-education and therapeutic exercise.
We
are happy to welcome Julie to Balance Chiropractic, where her expertise will
complement the high-quality chiropractic care we offer our patients.
Julie has been an excellent addition to our practice. She is currently accepting new patients.

Julia Bruneau graduated from University of Virginia with a BA in Biology
in 2002 and then received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from
Virginia Commonwealth University in 2005. She has worked in an
Outpatient Orthopedic practice as well as Skilled Nursing facilities,
treating a wide variety of populations with acute/chronic pain,
neurologic and vestibular disorders, and post surgical patients.
Julia
is also a fully certified Pilates Instructor through PHI. In addition
to teaching Pilates in the Charlottesville community, Julia actively
interweaves the principles of Pilates in her treatment of patients to
improve posture, improve strength and reduce muscular tension. She
enjoys helping clients of all backgrounds restore a balanced, healthy
lifestyle.
